Public Relation Etiquette-Government/Public Office:

Public relation work is very important in such offices. The numbers of persons contacting such offices are large. These members of the public’s are restless, in a hurry and are like a ship without a redder without guidance. Besides, it requires special qualities in the PR officers at such places, who are face with the hurrying and impatient mole. However, if the PROs in such public offices behave with civility, gentleness and discipline, the mob will also act patiently and sensibly.
The PRO’s position in a public office is a responsible one. He should not take it lightly, or eat, drink, gossip or wander about, leaving the seat vacant. On his efficiency and alertness depend the work and well-being of so many people.
Temperament:
From the previous lines, it may be concluded that in public relation, one should have the temper at his control. Guidance, assistance, protection, security etc. are all to be meshed in the PRO’s behavior. If the PRO easily loses his temper, gets emotionally involved in altercations, or particularly singles out one customer for punitive action, he would be deemed to be failing in his duties
