Inter-change of feelings is at the core of cultural contacts. Two individual stay and grow in society through mutual tolerance, appreciation and fair competition. Politeness and civility are essentials of a civilized society. Everybody is concerned about himself and it when one does a good turn to another that civilization advances.
Politeness:
Politeness costs nothing. It gives out the nature and mental maturity of the incumbent. Politeness draws and creates politeness. We have to exist with our fellowman, see their point, and deal with them reasonable. If somebody does a good turn to another, the latter has to reciprocate with “thank you” or “thank you very much”. In reply to this “thank you”, the first gentleman has to say “you are welcome” or simply “welcome”. In America they would say “any time”, and so on.
Acceptance:
Acceptance and adjustments have social values, and we cannot live with other people in a society without these qualities. We accept the good sides of people and adjust with their faults, if any.
Behavior:
Behavior has no settled dimension of action. Some on meeting other may fold their hands, others may shake hands, other may embrace, bow to one another, or act according to the custom and tradition of the region where they belong
